A Bodyshop Tutorial. by: Abz   Edited By: Hazeleyedgrl

This week in The Blabbity Fashion we will be explaining the basics of making custom clothing and also be talking about the fashion right now. Custom Content creation can be quite tricky but if you follow my simple guide you will be just fine. So first we must open The Sims 2 body shop, let it load and then you should see two titles. One saying
Build Sims and one saying Create Parts, click Create Parts. Then you will see two titles saying start new project and load saved projects, click start new project. Then click create clothing.
Now look through your clothes and choose something, I would recommend starting with a basic maxis made t-shirt. Then click export (this looks like a folder.) It will now ask for a name; I’m calling it Tutorial, then click on the tick.
Now open Paint ( it comes on nearly all PCs) and open C:\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects\tutorial then open the file called top~stdMatBaseTextureName.bmp. Now here’s the fun part, you get to decorate the top! But remember the top side on the right of your screen is the front. After you’re done save but don’t edit the name, then go back to body shop and click the refresh button beside the line saying enter tool tip here.  Your design will come up, and if your happy with it click on the tick and it will go into your game!
There you have made your first piece of Custom Content! Next week I will be showing you more skilled Custom Content creation!
Now there have been some lovely outfits on the Sims catwalk this week, so here are some photos I have prepared .The outfits were made by me and thanks to my models Elise and Myth for modeling them so beautifully.

Sim City Fashion Police by Bologna

No laughing please! I, Bologna made this story back in 2006, what I was thinking I don't know. It was back when I was obsessed with all of those makeover shows on TLC. So here's a little story I put together, like I said, long ago. Sorry that the images aren't great, I think this was done on my old computer. Click the image or go here for the story. And I will once again say, no laughing.

Getting yourself your own Bodyshop Manual by Bologna

If you are one of those simmers out there looking to learn about bodyshop and how to use it, who better to learn from then the makers of it themselves? It's been brought to my attention that there are many simmers out there that didn't know that they had a Bodyshop Manual in their computer this whole time!
To access your manual, go to:
C:\ProgramFiles\EAGames\The Sims 2\ Support\en-us\SIMS@BSpcMA(english).pdf
Open it up and prepare to figure out bodyshop!
Remember to share your creations, too!
